The number your contractor puts in your application decides whether CTCAC can recommend your project at all.
Past thirty percent over your adjusted threshold basis limit, staff cannot recommend the project. Under it, your contractor’s labor structure and delivery decide how much basis you are allowed to claim in the first place. Both numbers are set before you file, not after the award.
Every figure in the check is one you enter. It is just as useful no matter who you build with.
“A project will be designated "high cost" if a project's total eligible basis exceeds its total adjusted threshold basis limit by 30%. Staff shall not recommend such project for credits.”
The contractor is named in the application itself, and the readiness points that decide a competitive round require an executed construction contract and a notice to proceed inside a hundred and eighty days of reservation. By the time an award is published the choice has already been made and filed. That is why this page is addressed to the work you are doing now rather than to a project you have already won.

Each one has conditions, and several need a certification signed by your architect. They are listed so you can rule them in or out deliberately rather than by default.

Several increases require a certification signed by the project architect. The determination that governs your project is CTCAC's, not ours.
